Rho Chi Omega Chapter

Welcome to the Rho Chi Omega website!
Rho Chi Omega began as a vision of several members with an objective to recruit, reclaim and retain inactive members of several North Alabama counties. The Cultured Pearls of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority were chartered Rho Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority on July 29, 1989. Since the chapter’s inception, the chapter has been active in providing the Supreme In service to all Mankind by supporting local organizations such as the North Alabama Sickle Cell Foundation, Madison County Relay for Life, National Pan-Hellenic Council of North Alabama, Breaking Free Rescue Mission, Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen, Manna House, and Grady-Madison A.M.E. Church Food Pack Program.
Rho Chi Omega is diligent in its dedication and support to the International Programs of the sorority introduced at the 66th Boule—Launching New Dimensions of Service. The ladies are excited to promote the Targets introduced by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated International President, Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson.
The members of Rho Chi Omega Chapter embrace the founding ideals of our sorority. We are truly committed to sisterhood, service, action, leadership and devotion to the revitalization of our communities. With these ideals, we cleave to the charge set forth by our South Eastern Regional Director Mary B. Conner—to connect, communicate, collaborate, and celebrate by activating the “Power in the Pearl.”
Exploring our website affords you the opportunity to witness the bonds of our sisterhood and our commitment to fulfilling the legacy of our founding principles—rendering the Supreme Inservice to all Mankind. The website will illustrate our support to the Madison and Morgan County communities through our programs, events, and community service activities.
In Sisterhood and Service,
Dr. LaShonda D. Brown
