Dear Parents/Guardians,
The members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Rho Chi Omega Chapter welcome you to our 2023 Angel Pageant. We are honored that you have allowed your angel to join us as we celebrate our 33rd Angel Pageant season. This year’s theme is “Ignite the Fire Within and SOAR.”
Excitement is in the air as we have diligently planned and prepared for this year’s events! This is an awesome opportunity for your angel to meet new friends while refining her personal and interactive skills through personal enrichment workshops, social and community service activities, the Fashion and Talent Extravaganza, the Father and Daughter Tea, Mommy and Me activity, and pageantry training. These activities are designed to encourage positive self-esteem by helping to nurture and build scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living, and community involvement. We have prepared this booklet to serve as a guide for the upcoming pageantry season.

In the Parent Handbook, you will find eligibility criteria, calendar of activities, attire, and contact information. If you have participated in previous Angel Pageant seasons, thank you and we are grateful you chose to return. If this is your first time, we welcome you and assure you that you are in for a treat! With your support, we will continue the legacy of providing service and scholarships to our local community.

The talent will be judged. The Guardian and Arch Angels must perform a talent. The talent is optional for Cherubim Angels only.
The performance cannot exceed three (3) minutes. Two points will be deducted if talent presentation is longer than three (3) minutes.
If background music is needed, please submit in .mp3 format. Email this talent information form and mp3 to angelpageant@gmail.com by April 17th. Include the Angel’s name and category in the email subject line.

May 21 4:00pm Angel Pageant Finale

Participants will be judged on their personality, appearance, poise, and curtsy during the pageant. Each category is worth a maximum of ten (10) points. Each participant is judged on her individual presentation. A winner and two runners-up for each category will be designated. The winners from each category will be crowned Rho Chi Omega’s Cherubim, Guardian, and Arch Angels. The decision of the judges is final.
